Strawberry Fields is on Felmoor Country Park which is a beautiful park in the heart of Northumberland and lies centrally between Morpeth and Alnwick. ?There is a club house and restaurant on site, but no shop so you will need to take groceries with you. ?The nearest shops are in Morpeth and Alnwick.
There is a small zoo and cafe a mile away, so close enough to walk and it's a must visit with fabulous Snow Leopards.
The closest beach provides you with miles and miles of golden sand where your dogs can run free too and is just about 15 mins drive.
The home of Harry Potter is just up the road, in Alnwick Castle and you have other fabulous castles to explore along the coast including Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Chillingham, Warkworth and many others.
There are villages that will delight and surprise you and gorgeous pubs, restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy some true Northumbrian hospitality.
There are lots of activities such as horse-riding, golf, cinemas, theatres, swimming pools and much much more for the whole family to enjoy.

Good really private location, lovely clean lodge which had everything you need, luxurious towels and lovely surprise to have two soft & fluffy bath robes! Great hot tub which was spotlessly clean. Only suggestions would be loungers on decking & more hangers in wardrobes. Hope to visit again soon!

Strawberry Fields was a lovely lodge and perfectly located to feel secluded especially when using the hot tub in the evening was very peaceful. Our girls really enjoyed the location and there was enough space to give us all a break. Alan and the Hemera Team made this such an enjoyable staycation and available to help answer questions as well as making the booking so easy. We would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

Lovely property! The hot tub is an ideal location sunken into the floor right opposite the patio doors, there is an open field right out the back with no other propertys (only propertys are each side and opposite the front) so if you have a dog there is an amazing field out the back for them to run. I would say there isnt any apps on the tv- you have ITV/4/5 and BBC on demand, there is a dvd player but no dvds so you can bring your own to watch. The location was good- 2 mins from the on site bar and also 2 mins away from the bins which Is ideal. All in all a great stay and would stay again <3

We have been to Felmoor Park on a number of occasions in the past and were really looking forward to our stay. On the day we arrived there was a little bit of sunshine, so we decided to sit on the rattan chairs on the decking. Unfortunately we couldn't find any cushions for them. So we never got to sit outside. The sofa and chairs in the living room were well used and extremely uncomfortable and smelly. Every time we sat on them we had dog hairs on our clothing. We could almost taste/feel the hairs in the back of our throat. The bed in the double room was fine, but the single beds were so small and uncomfortable. The kitchen area looked lovely when we first arrived and there was a welcome gift for us, which was a nice surprise. The sink and drainer had an awful smell coming from both of the drain holes. I attempted making a salad and went to use the glass chopping board - we had to wash it first, before we could use it. The knives for chopping the salad were so blunt they wouldn't even slice a boiled egg. I think the park has changed a lot and lost the character it used to have. Overall the whole experience was so disappointing we left a day earlier than planned!

Lovely clean lodge in a peaceful area of the park. Hot tub was perfect temperature on arrival and also gets cleaned daily. In lodge Wi-Fi was brilliant so was able to use fire stick from home. Will definitely be returning later in the year.

All I can say is thisnis the the third time we have stayed at felmoor and this is by far the best lodge we have had the okease of making it home. The location was so quiet and serene over looking the woods, the hot tub on the decking visible from patio doors was amazing! So comfortable and spacious!!!! I will definitely be back!!!!
