Percy Woods Country Park, is truly stunning. The lodges are situated around a beautiful golf course, there are woodland walks, loads of wildlife (including deer) and it's just a short walk to the nearest village Swarland.
You are not far from the coast with the nearest beach being about 20 mins drive and you have the market towns of Morpeth and Alnwick on your doorstep.
There are quaint Northumbrian villages throughout the area and some amazing historical sights such as Alnwick, Warkworth, Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh castles, old forts, the Roman Wall and much more to explore.
Guests enjoy Free Golf, which you can arrange at reception.

We were put in this lodge for one night due to a booking error on someone's part on our original lodge. Whilst this is a lovely spacious lodge it is let down by its upkeep and lack of privacy of the hot tub. First impression was dirty unswept/unclean steps and decking, weeds growing out of all the gutters, old fold up chairs left rotting covered in leaves and dirt near hot tub. Inside both showers were black with mould including shower head, very bad for health! Mattresses cheap sprung uncomfortable ones. No net curtains to stop people staring in as they passed by. Shame as this could be a really great lodge! Cannot fault the host Wendy who did her very best to sort a very stressful 2 days of our holiday when this was no fault of hers, she was exceptional

What can I say! Absolutely stunning location, cleanliness superb,suncatcher lodge outstanding and to top it all having the ice cream van come round each evening was a welcome bonus (two happy grandchildren).

Suncatcher was very clean and tidy and well presented. We were pleasantly surprised with how spacious the lodge was. The one thing that we thought let it down was that the outside of the lodge towards the back and round the back was quite scruffy. It could do with a good sweep, and there were empty crushed lager tins pushed down between the edge of the hot-tub and grass from previous occupants. And that the lodge is too open from the street, needs screens putting up perhaps. Inside, we could have done with a tin opener, as there wasnt one!! Other than that, I would stay here again

Not only was the lodge amazingly clean, well kept and all needs catered for - the wonderful welcome pack was very kind! Hemera holidays really do look after you from booking to checking out - more importantly whilst you are there - hot tub cleaned every morning by maintenance manager who was super friendly, office staff so friendly and helpful when seeking a later checkout (only because lodge was not booked on our checkout day) the holiday was fantastic and keep coming back each year - thank you very much for making our holiday memorable! It also helped that we had a heat wave whilst we were there!! Definitely recommend using Hemera Holidays - 5 Star service throughout

We had a brilliant stay at the suncatcher couldn't fault it most relaxing holiday we have ever had we didn't want yo come home everything was fantastic it was so peaceful and our we dog ? it yo will definitely be going back but for a longer stay next time

The Hemera girls kept me in the loop about arrival instructions etc. Upon entering the lodge we were blown away by how beautiful and cosy it was. There were plenty amenities and it was very roomy. The beds were very comfortable as was everything else. The hot tub made it even more amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would definitely return.

Suncatcher is on an excellent position on the site Our only complaint is that there is no vacuum, carpet sweeper or even dustpan and brush.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The lodge was so much nicer than we were expecting, and felt like a home away from home! Our only small problem was that the toaster knocked all the power off and we werent sure how to get it back on! We were left a number to call if we needed anything on our stay but when we called the lady said it was her day off. She told us how to turn it back on but not sure why we were given a number of someone that wasnt actually working! Other than that the stay was perfect! We will definitely be coming back!

Would of been great if there was a step to get in and out of hot tub, we had to use a chair from decking. It didnt seem like round the hottub was finished off like the board and grass. And we noticed a lot of other lodges there hottub was covered in. Would of been better if this was as you felt like you were on show when people were walking past. Lodge its self was unreal beautifully decorated and really clean.
