Callander is so popular and this lovely holiday home is stunning, with its contemporary decor, spacious living room and 3 upstairs bedrooms. Callander has many tearooms, restaurants and gift shops and is a most enjoyable destination to visit for a holiday. This stylish holiday home is bright and modern and just a short walk from the town centre. It is perfect for couples or families looking for an exceptional location to explore the area.

On the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, free-standing fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster.

The spacious sitting room offers a comfortable and relaxed seating area, has a 43-inch flat screen TV, DVD player, freesat, free WIFI and wireless speaker for your comfort. There is also a formal dining table and chairs with ample seating for six.

French doors lead from the living area to a fully enclosed rear garden with picnic bench and there is also a WC on this level.

Upstairs there are three contemporary bedrooms.

The Master bedroom has an oak King Size bed with an en-suite shower room; an elegant Double bedroom and the stylish Twin bedroom overlooks the rear garden. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets and either privacy roller blinds or black out blinds. The family bathroom is also on this level and has a bath with shower.

With an abundance of activities for the whole family within an easy commute, there is so much to see and do here, with a choice of Munros, walking and cycling routes, golf, shooting, fishing, animal safari parks, outdoor adventure centres, lochs for watersports and cruising, it really is a superb location for those who enjoy the outdoors and this luxury holiday home is the perfect place to use as a base.

1 x Elegant Double bedroom with fitted wardrobe and solid oak bedside cabinets. Privacy blinds are fitted.

1 x stylish Twin bedroom with two single beds. Large fitted wardrobe and bedside cabinets. This bedroom overlooks the back garden. Black out blinds are fitted.

2 Hairdryers are provided.

Bathrooms: WC downstairs and a Family bathroom upstairs with bath with shower, sink and toilet.

Walking: Many walks to choose from, all against a backdrop of breathtaking mountain scenery, amazing Lochs and spectacular waterfalls. Callander is a walker’s paradise and The Rob Roy Way passes through the town. You could also walk around nearby stunning Loch Katrine, an ideal day out for families.

Hillwalking: Climb The Crags directly from Callander and you will be rewarded with a panorama reaching as far as Stirling, the Ochils Hills and the Pentland Hills over Edinburgh.

There are over 20 Munros in the area and Ben Ledi, a dramatic Corbett towers over the town and provides a stunning outlook.

Lochs: This area has an abundance of large lochs in this area, plus Scotland’s only lake (Lake of Menteith) and numerous rivers and streams. The lochs and forests are a haven for those who want peace and serenity. Scenic Loch Katrine in the Trossachs area is a popular destination for tourists and from here, you enjoy a cruise on the classic steamship SS Sir Walter Scott, or go cycling and walking.

Loch Earn offers offer multiple water sports ranging from water-skiing, wakeboarding to kayaking and SUP hire. Loch Lubnaig is tranquil loch, popular with paddlers, canoeists and walkers. A section of the National Cycle Network’s Route 7 runs along the route of the former Callander and Oban Railway. The 9 mile trail Callander and Strathyre, is a scenic bike ride or walk.

Loch Lomond is a short drive away where you can Cruise, jet ski or hire a speedboat.

Cycling: Bikes can be hired locally. Mountain biking and cycling in the Trossachs is a great way of seeing the best of the scenery. Bike hire at Loch Katrine offers glorious scenic beauty on the cycle tracks while the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park has Britain’s largest network of off-road cycle tracks.

Golf: Callander Golf Club, nestled above the town on its northern hillside is walking distance from Calasraid. Other Golf courses such as Aberfoyle, Killin, Dunblane and the world-famous Gleneagles all within easy driving distance.

Fishing: There are numerous brown trout lochs and Pike fishing is available on Loch Venachar and other local lochs. Local Rivers Leny, Dochart and Teith provide excellent Salmon and Brown Trout fishing. Local Fishing Shop James Bayne in Callander can provide everything you need to fish whether you are a novice or pro.

Restaurants / Pubs: There are numerous pub and restaurants in the town and surrounding area. Blair Drummond Safari Park is less than 10 miles away, with wild animal reserves, adventure playground, chimp Island, pet farm, lemur land, flying fox, giant astraglide, sea lion shows, bird of prey centre & pedal boats. A great day out for the whole family.

Gocountry: Range of outdoor activities to suit all ages and interests - quad biking, waterpark, canoeing, climbing/abseiling, cliff jumping, archery, mountain biking, orienteering and many more.

Horseriding: Rednock Farm Trekking Centre offers a spectacular backdrop for treks for all abilities.

Briarlands Farm is an educational, safe, fun experience for children and families. Also has a play area.

Go Ape in Aberfoyle is a forest adventure park with zipwires, tarzan swings - for those living life a little more adventurously.

Public Transport: International airports at Glasgow and Edinburgh are less than 1 hour away. Nearest train stations Dunblane and Stirling connecting with Edinburgh and Glasgow; and buses approximately every hour on weekdays from Stirling to Callander (there is a reduced service at weekends).
