Flamingo Rest, is perfectly situated on the site. The caravan is very comfortable and spacious, We have 2 golden retrievers, that love lying outside, having the enclosed balcony is ideal. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely caravan could have done with air con due to the heat, the shop was miles away although they are going to build stuff on site next year, very little for kids to do also.

We had a lovely Easter weekend in this very well presented caravan. Everything that you need for your stay is provided, including the things we all forget. (Tin opener, bottle opener, scissors etc). The hot tub was perfect and ready to jump straight in to and the bottle of Proseco and big bag of sweets for the kids made for an awesome welcome gift from the owners. The WiFi is pretty intermittent however due to the remote location of the park it actually performed better than expected. The online booking process via Hemera was straight forward, the only question I had was answered with a quick call to their office. The lady even helped me to complete my booking over the telephone which made the whole process nice and easy. All terms and conditions for the stay are sent via email before you leave, with owners contact details and key code for access etc sent the day before your arrival. Hemera will also send an email explaining the terms for leaving the caravan on the day before you leave. I would recommend you look out for this email as it explains how to prepare the caravan for the next guests, more importantly it explains how you could lose some or all of your security deposit. We didn't check our emails as we were on holiday so only received these important instructions after we arrived back home. Maybe a copy of all terms and conditions for the stay and departure could be kept in a "Welcome" folder left on display in the caravan. The only other recommendation would be to include an instruction sheet to operate the boiler as we had to use trial and error until we got it turned on. It was probably an easier process than we made it but a long drive and the stresses of the day didn't help. We would recommend Flamingos rest to our friends and family and we will be booking again in the near future.

Really lovely caravan and break away by Jenny Molloy

After reading some previous reviews I was slightly concerned what to expect but the caravan was lovely and spacious and very clean. A lovely welcome gift was provided on arrival. Hot tub was great. Bedrooms comfy. Only negative would be the lack of utensils in the caravan. We tried to cook a meal and had the choice of a butter knife and a bread knife and nothing in between. Cooking and eating steak was difficult. A roll of foil and some cling film would have been useful. Also only 2 egg cups when we had boiled eggs. Just little things but would have been good. Unfortunately for us the caravan park was not in a good location. The bar that is meant to be onsite is down a very very dark mucky lane which is not easily accessible for an evening drink and this is something we enjoy doing.

Flamingos Rest was such a relaxing place to go. The caravan was nice and clean and had everything to make your stay easier eg, washing up materials, bedding and towels. There was a welcome pack when we came which was a lovely touch and thoroughly enjoyable. The Hot tub was amazing, again it was checked daily so you knew it was looked after. We will definitely be booking up again.
