Honeysuckle was clean and comfortable the hot tub was lovely and hot and very clean . The TV on the other hand was a disappointing due to the aerial TV kept freezing , which I seen on the reviews after we booked it however we racked our brains nd to see what we could do to fix this so I put about 6 books under the white box behind the TV nd placed the aerial wire on top and TV was fine , hope this is any use for future bookings .

Weekend at honeysuckle lodge

Lovely clean comfortable lodge. Lovely surprise of prosecco, chocolate and crisps as welcome pack. Shower was nice and hot. Bed comfy, nice outside seating area and hot tub. Had everything we needed. Only issue was the smoke alarm was very sensitive when cooking and tv signal was poor at times. Park nice and quiet and had visit to Craster. Lovely stay.

We had a very good time the caravan was very nice and the hot tub was very private we would definitely go back my only criticism is that the electric tripped on numerous occasions making it very inconvenient having to go outside in the freezing cold and pitch black

Week at honeysuckle

Excellent lodge, quiet location next to duck pond, very clean and cosy. Hot tub private and spacious. Would stay again.
Only small annoyance was fire alarm very sensitive, goes off evreytime you cook, even if just using kettle, oven or toaster!

Quiet weekend away from it all.

We had a good weekend staying at Honey suckle retreat. Caravan was nice. Very quiet site. Husband and son went golfing. 15 minute walk to clubhouse which took a while to find(luckily we found it night before 7:30am tee off). Nice forest walk for dog. Site could have better signage and maybe a map at entrance would be beneficial for new guests. Low lighting around site at night would be nice for dark nights as torch provided in caravan was very useful. Hoover could do with being emptied and filter cleaned as smell was overpowering when using.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely lodge, We were celebrating our wedding aniversary and had a fantastic time, the prosecco, crisps and chocolate was a lovely touch to our stay, a truly home from home, very comfortable and well presented, Ideally situated for walks in the woods. We would have loved to stay longer.

Lovely caravan, strange park

Honeysuckle Retreat itself is a lovely caravan, modern, light and as spacious as it can be but it is on the strangest park. Its almost as though someone set the facilities up years ago and then forgot about them. There is so much that could be done to make it just right but I got the impression that the owners of the park just dont really care. Shame really. Despite all of this we had a nice stay. My boys enjoyed playing a few holes on the golf course and we all loved the hot tub. It is also a good base for getting to nearby attractions but then when in said places - Amble, Bamburgh etc you do wonder why you didnt just stay there.

Lovley few days away at Percy woods, stayed in the honeysuckle retreat and what a little delight it was. Caravan felt homely spacious and clean and was perfect for my family of 4. Hot tub was an added extra and the kids loved it. Would stay again

Excellent lodge with great location for Northumberland

Lodge appeared new and immaculate. Welcome bottle of Fizz on arrival was a lovely surprise.
The site doesnt have much by way of services but its well located and well organized.
Hot tub was great and private
A couple of minor niggles only; didnt use the dishwasher as theres insufficient crockery and the WiFi is a little hot and miss
Other than that we highly recommend

We just had a lovely stay in Honeysuckle Lodge , beautiful location , very quiet . The lodge was amazing , very clean and comfortable and the beds were so comfy. My kids loved the hot tub . Would highly recommend this place

Bank holiday away at Percy Woods

Excellent weekend away with just the two of us celebrating 39 years married. Took two dogs along as well. Site was clean and well maintained. Lodge was clean and compact, we didnt use 2nd bedroom but it would only be for kids as room and beds were on small side. Kitchen well equipped, shower / toilet absolutely spotless. Main bedroom compact but ideal for just the weekend, although beds were very soft( but thats a personal choice thing we prefer firm bed). Lounge was spacious although the TV was a little temperamental on the freeview. All in all a really good value for money lodge with the added bonus of a hot tub which was used well so really didnt need the tv. The area itself was lovely too with a golf course and loads of woodland walks to explore and yes we did get to see some of the deer in Percy woods. Will definitely return for another weekend !
