Perfect getaway to relax . Whiteacres is a lovely lodge with everything you need to enjoy a break away from every day. My husband and I recently stayed for a long weekend . Totally chilled in the fabulous hot tub and enjoyed lovely walks with our two dogs around the park.

Lovely lodge but grubby by Toni Jenkins

Whiteacres is a lovely lodge but was a bit grubby on arrival. Spider webs everywhere, dead spiders in the bath and bed. pots, pans and cutlery not clean. The hoover smelt like wet dog. Zoe wasn't very friendly when I rang to complain saying "well it was cleaned last week" anyway I cleaned it myself but couldn't hoover because the smell from it knocked us all sick. Under the current situation of covid 19 you would of thought it would of been inspected and cleaned the day before arrival and cleaned to a very high standard.

Lodge was in lovely location. Had a few issues but spoke to people that helped. It could of been a little cleaner and some of the contents could of been abit updated. Some of the lodge needed some tlc. All in all ideal for short break.

The property was clean and comfortable, but the decking area could do with a little attention. The park was quiet, which suited us and centrally located for visiting attractions in the area.

A great place. The lodge does need some work done to it such as the decking is very tired looking, the banister on the stairs was loose and the decking by the hot tub was bending maybe rotten because of the water. The pillows could do with being replaced or more pillows. The sofas had water marks on them and curtains had stains on them too. The place just needs some tlc. Apart from the small issues, we had a great time, relaxing together as a family without any worries of covid and other people surrounding us. We have asked to book again next year, same place. So we did enjoy it

A lovely stay on a holiday park in a good location. by Guest

The property was clean and tidy with clean bed linen and towels. Great hot tub which was regularly maintained whilst we were there. WiFi included in the property but very poor signal in the surrounding area. The holiday home had all the essentials for cooking, including dishwasher. There was a strong sewerage type smell coming from the bathroom which got worst over the week. Not sure if it was a damp smell but was quite unpleasant. But apart from that a great stay in a great location near to Morpeth and Alnwick and some great beaches.

Arrived Friday evening access was good straight in easy to find on site. Went to pub had a lovely tea and a little drink. Friday night someone must of been having a party and music and laughter up until 2 am didn’t have a number for security to come and sort it out. Didn’t want to call the number we had been given as that was up til 9pm and was for emergency use. Spoke to the lady who come to clean hot tub she said to report it to reception. Accommodation was ok but we are used to bigger lodges we only had a double bed which we are not used to and was very uncomfortable kids room was fine and both enjoyed the hot tub. Other facilities were fine.

Stunning lodge with fantastic home from home facilities with WiFi fridge freezer and dishwasher. A bottle of Prosecco was also waiting for us. The pub on site was amazing too. My only negative was the company didn’t send us the email with the key code on so get they key out the locked box we had to spend time ringing round to get the key after a drive on a Friday night but overall good experience

Lovely sunny location. We had troubles with the lights but mentioned to Wendy and got sorted. This was our 2nd time at this lodge and we love the location of this lodge. One thing the lodge would benefit is fans for the rooms. Thankfully we brought two with us, but would be beneficial to have there. A very enjoyable holiday.

Enjoyed our stay, but pros and cons. Pros - love the site and the bar with the added games room for the kids, food lovely too. Also liked the addition of the bridge over to the play area and other little bar. Lovely quiet site ideal for the kids. Cons - the lodge needs updating and some repairs - especially to the outdoor area. One of my children tripped on protruding decking getting into the hot tub. Finally, little cupboard space as they are all full of junk. Nowhere to put our clothes etc so quite crammed. Could also have been a tad cleaner too. Overall we would return but maybe in a different lodge.

Lodge was in a lovely peaceful spot near the lake. Easy to find. The site is well maintained with an online pub doing fantastic food, we were lucky to get a table as most were reserved so recommend booking. The lodge itself was comfortable, though there was quite a lot of dog hair visible, maybe need a better vacuum cleaner the one provided was no use. Also could maybe do with an awning or some screening over hot tub area to give a little more privacy and shelter. Other than that negative it was a lovely lodge.
