Wee Bothy – Hot Tub Lodge

Cupar, Scotland

Wee Bothy is a perfectly cute holiday home to coorie in (‘Coorie’ is a Scottish word traditionally meaning ‘to snuggle’ or ‘cuddle’).

It’s an ideal space for two adults, to get away and relax with the added bonus of a private hot tub and 2 well-behaved dogs can come on holiday too.

(There are free range hens roaming freely though please pop the dogs on a lead when outside).

In days gone by, this property used to be a gamekeepers kennels, now converted into a bright, light and stylish space – a lovely escape in the Scottish countryside of Fife.

Wee Bothy sits in a courtyard setting next to 2 log cabin apartments and benefits from a private decked patio area at the rear of the property, overlooking fields and forestry.

You will feel like you’re away from it all here, so if you’re after an escape from the hustle and bustle then its an ideal choice.

Wee Bothy has one bedroom, a Kingsize bed and a separate bathroom contains a bath and overbath power shower.

The Lounge/kitchen area is open plan with a large sofa, TV, dining table for 2, full size electric oven & hob, a microwave, small fridge freezer, washer/dryer and all the necessary crockery.

Free WIFI is available too of course.

At the rear of the Bothy, you have a decked area with table & chairs and views overlooking fields. The resident horse Katie might pop over and say hello too!

Your private outdoor hot tub is set in a newly enclosed deck area just a few steps from your front door, also overlooking fields. It’s the perfect way to end the day after exploring the local area. If you’re lucky, you’ll see our resident deer from the tub!

You’re only ¾ of a mile from Ladybank village in Cupar should you need the shops, but part of the appeal here is being surrounded by countryside with local woodland walks nearby, so you really can relax and unwind or chill in the hot tub.

All towels and linen are supplied, beds are made up for your arrival and waffle robes are available for use when using the hot tub.

Bringing the car is recommended; although you can walk to Ladybank, you’ll be able to visit Cupar, Falkland, Pitlessie, Glenrothes & St Andrews which are all within easy driving distance.
