The lodge was overlooking Percy woods golf course with beautiful scenery. The lodge itself was spacious, clean and ideal for a family of 4 break. The hot tub was warm and we enjoyed sitting in it after long walks. My only criticism is there is nothing to do at Percy woods unless you are planning on playing golf every day. We drove out and visited Almouth beach which was about 8 miles away and Warkworth Castle and village 9 miles away. Overall it was a nice break and relaxing.

The caravan was very dirty and had a strong smell of dogs. We raised this issue but apparently it was not even fed back through the appropriate channels. The blinds and all surfaces were dusty, the kitchen cupboards had sticky white substances all in the handles and there were old Christmas decorations in the wardrobes and bits of paper just left around the kitchen.

We Would just like to say Thankyou for a lovely stay we’ve just had over the weekend in this beautiful lodge. The lodge was beautiful both inside and out and since staying I’ve had a lot of people asking where we had stayed due to seeing pictures etc. The lodge was immaculate, the beds were very comfortable and we noticed all the small touches left for us (a welcome box, little milks in the fridge) and all the essentials we may need on our stay including a washing machine which was brilliant after a day at the beach. The views we had from this lodge was second to none, we actually couldn’t believe how beautiful our view was. And at night it’s lovely to sit out and listen to all the wildlife making noises across the way from the lodge. Overall we would definitley recommend this lodge to others and hopefully in the future we can enjoy another stay here too!

The property was clean but could do with a bit of general repair work, I.e re-sealinng around the shower in the en-suite and a few little things such as coat hooks on the wall being broken and a broken slat in a blind in the en-suite and a small hole in the carpet in the living room. It is all just general wear and tear on what is clearly as well used, popular holiday lodge. The bed was rather uncomfortable but I do find that this is the case in many properties and must just be a personal thing. The situation of the lodge was excellent and the views from the balcony and the hot tub were excellent! It's great that they allow dogs as well. The welcome pack of chocolate, crisp and prosecco was also a really nice touch!

We stayed at valley view for the weekend and I can honestly say it was fantastic, thier was a problem with our original lodge befor we arrived and louise couldn't of done a better job given me lots of other options to choose from, she even got lots of sweets left for our children, we had a brilliant weekend very relaxing and will definitely be back. The park itself is very quiet and the people are very friendly and things to do for the children .

Brilliant lodge situated in the Heart of Northumberland. The lodge was in a great and peaceful location. We where visited by deer on the first day which the kids thought was brilliant. Food and drink was excellent at the golf club which was about 10 minutes walk away. Percy wood was a great site just missing a cafe, pub or restaurant on site

Second visit to Valley View & it didn't disappoint. The lodge was clean & well equipped with what we required (take a pizza cutter if you decide to have pizza!) Lovely secure wrap around veranda with seating area & hot tub. Valley view is such an apt name as the view from the veranda/hot tub is stunning, we spotted a deer & each morning/evening had a very large hare come down the golf course. Percy Wood is only a few minutes walk away which is wonderful for the dogs. Nearest beach is 20minutes away by car, a couple of lovely pubs only a 5 mins drive, good food served at both. Wi-fi was a little hit & miss but no way a deal breaker

Great location and lovely views. Caravan could do with some TLC, hooks hanging off the walls, blinds broken and grubby in places. Jacuzzi was not that clean and was very strong with chemicals. But overall it never spoilt our break.

Lovely place to stay, bath is amazing and nice home comfort as most don't have this, only thing wrong for me was the fencing is very low and with a labrador could not be left out on own as could clear fencing but over all would highly recommend and be returning again soon

Mini break number 7 at Percy woods it never disappoints. The lodge is in a good location lovely views and overlooking the golf course, kitchen looks new and well equipped bedrooms are a good size my only nit picking complaint is the lounge furniture it’s had its day time to replace that said it’s only a base to explore from. Looking forward to our next visit soon at Percy woods enjoy.
