Willows Retreat is situated within the high street of the charming village of Belford and only 6 miles from popular Bamburgh. This Grade II listed building is spread over three floors ensuring this property is a suitable choice for larger parties. The property is adorned with bespoke features and has been cleverly designed with quirky and interesting fixtures and fittings throughout. it's a beautiful home to spend precious time with family and friends, making memories to last a lifetime.

Willow Retreat sleeps up to 8 to 10 guests in 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin room. There two J-beds under the beds in the twin room for an additional two guests. You are also welcome to bring your dogs with you for a small fee and the owner has provided a dog cage, bowls and more for your pets.

The ground floor houses a cosy sitting room, two double bedrooms with Jack and Jill bathroom. There is also a separate toilet with washbasin.

From the ground floor here you go down to the kitchen where is a fabulous range cooker and oven and everything else that you need for a self catering holiday. The owner has also thoughtfully added an Airfryer. The courtyard is accessible from the kitchen. (Please note the stairs down to the kitchen are steep and may not be suitable for the elderly or very young)

You can relax and enjoy some alfresco dining and feel perfectly at ease in your own space that is a sun trap in the afternoon and early evening.

On the top floor there is a large double bedroom, with stunning en-suite bathroom and a twin bedroom. There's also a full family bathroom.

This really is a lovely base for a few friends or a large family to enjoy some quality time together in quirky, cosy surroundings and an area that is rich with history and great places to explore.

This charming village is often described as the ’Gateway to the Secret Kingdom’ and offers many facilities including an impressive golf driving range, shops, tea room, cafes and pubs renowned for serving good food. Belford is also famous for being an old coaching town linking Newcastle-upon-Tyne to Edinburgh, and all of the towns between Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The small and friendly market town of Wooler sits at the foot of the Cheviot Hills, 12 miles west, a popular destination for those who enjoy cycling, hang-gliding, golf, horse riding and walking with the challenging route of the St Cuthbert’s Way passing close by.

There is a bus stop opposite Willows Retreat should you wish to visit Newcastle or one of the outstanding villages surrounding Belford.

There is plenty of parking which is free.
