Ned's Retreat is a welcoming holiday home in a quiet corner of Percy Wood Country Park, backing onto woodland and the golf course.
Perfect for families looking for a staycation where they can explore the beauty of Northumberland or a few friends who just want to kick back and relax for a few days.
The holiday home has a modern open plan living space with all the mod cons you could wish for, including free wifi, TV with freeview, feature fire and large comfy seating designed to help you relax. It is open plan living / dining / kitchen meaning nobody is left out of the conversation, and it's a fun place to enjoy with friends and family.
There are three bedrooms, one Kingsize with a wardrobe and vanity unit, a Twin room also with a wardrobe, and a Single. There's a bathroom with step-in shower unit, and a separate W.C. Please note the single beds are all standard caravan singles, most suitable for children, teens and small adults. The third bedroom can have an additional single added on request.
Double doors lead to your enclosed secure terrace, and Ned's Retreat is also dog friendly. (small fee payable)

Outside: Free parking for two cars; seating for up to 6 people.
STRICTLY NO BBQ’S
Swarland is just a few miles south of Alnwick for the Castle, Gardens and Tree House, plus the worlds largest play structure Lilidorei. Just a short drive to the nearest coastal town of Amble, and Druridge Bay is just a 15 min drive and it's stunning in every way with miles and miles of golden sand for as far as you can see.
You have the Cheviot Hills on your doorstep and Thrunton Woods if you enjoy walking or mountain biking. There is horse riding in surrounding villages and lots more activities for those more adventurous guests.
Newcastle is the closest city which is a 40 mile drive and Edinburgh is roughly 1.5 hours drive.
