There are mountain bike trails from your lodge and horse riding schools not far. Enjoy free golf on Percy Wood's Golf course.

Nice new lodge with lovely hot tub. We wish there had been some information/map of the park. Also information of nearest walks, attractions, restaurants, takeaways etc. When staying at other destinations this has been available. Also privacy from the lodge to the right was nice but no privacy to the lodge on the left of this lodge.

Just back from lovey stay in the new Sweethope caravan; clean, comfortable, lovely touch of a few gifts in the goodie basket (nice!). Hot tub was excellent being right on the deck, with the patio seating and great weather we had a blast. Second time staying at Percy Woods - it's quiet/remote, but kids enjoyed tennis/football court. Only thing I wasn't sure of was if we were allowed into the Golf Course Club House bar and if so how you gain access from the site (would be good to know for next time as we'll be back).

What a gorgeous lodge, small but perfectly formed with everything we needed. Very clean and nicely decorated. Hot tub was fantastic. There isn't much in the way of facilities at Percy Woods but close enough to other places to explore.

Beautiful caravan, nicely displayed on arrival. WiFi reception was 90% working, we just had a few issues at random times during the day but still able to enjoy and take advantage of the TV apps on our rainy sofa day! The hot tub was amazing and a nice relaxing touch to our break. Only criticism would be the lack of facilities on the camp site but no flaws in the caravan itself. Just be prepared to take food and drink for your full stay as there's no shops nearby

Had a great stay at Sweethope Lodge. Very clean and had everything that my family required. The hot tub was great and in great condition. I would definitely recommend the lodge and percy Woods which is in a great location to explore the area. Had a couple of things we needed to ask and the number provided gave us great help and were very accommodating. Loved our stay!

Just had a 3 night break in Sweethope and it was perfect. Lodge was beautiful and clean, very comfortable, bed really comfy and it had everything you need. Hot tub and outside relaxing area was private and in a lovely sunny position. Walks were absolutely fab, especially if you have dogs. Walk to Bari bar was only 10 mins. Would definitely recommend this property. Very small suggestion...a lamp in living room would have been lovely for those cosy nights x

We stayed as 4 adults and 2 well behaved Labrador dogs. I made a mistake and somehow managed to book something that was unavailable. The team (Louise as main contact) were so understanding and accomidating. The service, as it is everytime we have stayed, was amazing. My 35th birthday was spent in the clean and what looked to be recently updated Sweethope Lodge. The Wi-Fi was quik to use and allowed streaming on the TV which was a nice touch. This is the first time we have stayed at the top end of the park, but I have to say still having the trees it was as nice as overlooking the golf course. The lodge was clean, easy to access and generally a pleasure to stay at. We had no troubles staying there for the 7 days so had no reason to recontact the team. The hot tub was well maintained, clean and was checked daily by the on site team (who were in themselves friendly, professional and polite - even when our two dogs surprised them by sneaking round the side door to say hello. It was a shame the burger van at the top had gone but wasnt a hardship travelling about and even got a delivery from a supermarket to the door.

We stayed at Sweethope for the second time in March and it is still as amazing to us as it was the first time. The accommodation is clean, modern and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The hot tub is a fantastic addition and you can enjoy privacy in the evening whilst watching the stars after dark. The location is fantastic and is why we chose Percy Woods, only a 10 minute drive to Alnwick, we visited bamburgh castle which is only 30 minutes north too! Make sure you stop off at Sunnyhills for breakfast, it’s to die for!

First time in Northumberland. The caravan site is in an excellent location for getting out and about. The site is clean and tidy with a 10pm curfew which works really well. Lovely caravan and just as described. Great hot tub. The only issue is it needs more screening around the hot tub. Would definitely go back.

A cosy place to stay by Simon Boot

This lodge was cosy and comfortable. There are a few things that needed attention during our stay. The freezer was completely iced over so we couldn't use it. The boiler didn't seem to work very well, the heating was either too hot and not going off on the thermostat or wouldn't come on. The reception for the TV was unreliable. The bedroom doors stuck slightly and so were loud when opening and shutting so, during the night we would all wake up if any of us got up. these are all minor but a little annoying after a couple of days. However the kitchen had plenty of crockery and cutlery. The hot tub was excellent, settees lovely and cosy.
