We stayed here for a weekend with my 2 little ones, comfortable lodge. Great hot tub! The site is really nice, quiet and peaceful. A deer strolled right by us while sat in the hot tub on the first evening! Plenty to do and see close by too.

Lovely lodge a real home from home. Only downside was the hot tub which was lovely, but had a very narrow path with mud either side making it difficult to access. Be careful lots of youngsters driving around the park in golf buggies.

Can't fault the lodge, everything was provided that we needed. Lovely, quiet site too, with a nice bar a short walk away across the golf course. Helpful staff at reception, and a 20 minute drive to a fantastic sandy beach at Warkworth. Great base for exploring Northumberland, and we would definitely go again

This is a comfortable and spacious lodge in a great position on the site. Unfortunately when we arrived we found a dirty screwed up towel on the family bathroom radiator and the bedding in the twin bedroom rooms wasn’t clean either and had food stains on. Luckily our kids brought their own bedding from home. The table on the front porch was covered in weetabix and spilt milk from the previous guests too along with the cutlery. This was easily rectified but not the standard of cleanliness we were expecting. The hot tub water level was really low also and inside wasn’t the cleanest. The hot tub area isn’t the best to walk on as it is muddy and full of leaves, it could do with a private fence from the lodge steps around to the hot tub and a flagged area to prevent you having to step on mud and leaves. The price we paid in comparison to other more modern lodges on the site is reasonable given the fact that the lodge isn’t as well looked after but unfortunately we won’t be returning due to the cleanliness of the lodge. I feel we were unlucky that the previous guests maybe didn’t clean up after themselves well but relying on guests to leave the lodge as they found it means your are relying on different peoples cleanliness standards which for us wasn’t good at all.

The caravan smelt of wet dogs on arrival, we washed all utensils before we used as cups had stains, we left a day early due to been almost on a building site that was moving noisey diggers from 8.00 am.

We loved our time at Manderine Lodge, form first arriving and the welcome pack and the lodge lite up. It was a great base to visit the surrounding Northumberland areas and returning for a relaxing time in the hot tube each evening even in the snow.
