Wysteria Rise - Northumberland
Wysteria Rise is on Percy Wood Country Park in Northumberland, about 7 miles south of Alnwick. She's got a large terrace with the most amazing views over the Northumbrian Countryside for as far as you can see.
There is a hot tub to the rear giving you a place to kick back and relax after a day exploring Northumberland. There are lovely woodland walks and mountain bike trails from your door and the park. You can partake in free golf on the stunning 18 hole course and your dogs are welcome to join you too (but not on the golf course! ). Wysteria Rise really does have it all.
With a spacious living area and separate kitchen dining, it's a lovely place to enjoy a family break away or a couples hideaway. There are two bedrooms, the double with fitted wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over. The second bedroom is a twin, also with a fitted wardrobe. (NB the twin beds are slightly smaller than ful size, and best suited to children, teens and small adults)
There is seating for four on the terrace where can simply wile away the hours watching the world go by.

Percy Woods Country Park, is truly stunning. The lodges are situated around a beautiful golf course, there are woodland walks, loads of wildlife (including deer) and it's just a short walk to the nearest village Swarland.
You are not far from the coast with the nearest beach being about 20 mins drive and you have the market towns of Morpeth and Alnwick on your doorstep.
There are quaint Northumbrian villages throughout the area and some amazing historical sights such as Alnwick, Warkworth, Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh castles, old forts, the Roman Wall and much more to explore.

Our first break away with Wendy from Hemera holidays and it wont be our last. Super service provided and instant replies to support when we arrived to find the hot tub had not been switched on and that we couldnt get our oven to work. A lovely site, quiet, relaxing and ideal for families. Great base for exploring the amazing Northumberland coast. Would have liked more information inside the caravan - some basic information on how to work the different devices, where the main bins were and what was expected for on checkout. Although the caravan did have wifi it couldnt really cope with streaming from the Netflix etc on the TV but this didnt spoil out break. Lovely layout and two super bathrooms and a great master bedroom. Hot tub could do with more with more privacy and maybe an easier walk to get to it without showing the whole site your swimming costume. We had a great weekend and will definitely use this company again.

The location was perfect for exploring Northumberland. There is so much to do in the area it really is worth a visit. Percy Wood holiday park is very quiet. There are many places to eat a short drive away. The holiday home had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The hot tub was a great bonus.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wysteria Rise recently. The lodge we stayed in was lovely and clean and very nicely presented. We enjoyed using the hot tub which was really hot and well filled (weve been to other lodges that werent very nice). The area was full of lodges which we think were privately owned but it was so quiet and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet. There are a lot of pubs and restaurants very close to Percy Woods and youre only about 30-40 minutes drive from Amble, Rothbury and Berwick. The only thing I could be negative about is the state of the roads, there are a lot of pot holes around which really need fixing. Overall we would book here again anytime.

Wysteria Rise and Percy Wood was absolutely outstanding. Lovely touch with prosecco and goodies on arrival. Good base for sightseeing but the park itself was clean and peaceful. We would definitely recommend and will return. The only suggestion I would make is maybe an umbrella / canopy for the hot tub to use when the weather isn't great but apart from that out break was outstanding. Short walk also to Bari Bar. Fab prices and very friendly.
