The closest beach is Druridge Bay, where there is also a country park and Alnwick is the closest town, where you can sample true Northumbrian friendly hospitality, marvel at the history and visit the home of Harry Potter, "Alnwick Castle".

Swarland is the closest village which is a short walk away and you have a five star rated restaurant a mile down the road.

Isla's Retreat is on the sort after Whin Fell area Percy Woods Country Park, overlooking the Golf Course. Enjoy a round of golf on us, bring your dogs and wander around the beautiful woodland walks, exploring the hundreds of acres of land this gorgeous park and golf course sit on.

You are a short drive to Druridge Bay Beach, a gorgeous beach with a country park and miles and miles of golden beaches. Or if castles are your thing, Alnwick is just five miles away where you can visit the home of Harry Potter, Alnwick Castle. We also have Warkworth and Dunstanburgh Castles for you to visit and explore.

Visit Holy Island and Lindisfarne, but make sure you check the tide times !!.

You have the market towns of Alnwick and Morpeth on your Doorstep and the Cheviots are a short drive away where you can walk for miles.
