Bockenfield Country Park is a quiet, peaceful site set within beautiful countryside and Willow Burn enjoys a lovely elevated position overlooking woodland and a small burn. When you arrive you will notice that the property sits on probably the sunniest spot on the park with natural sunlight streaming onto the front deck all day. Stepping into the property you will notice a warm and welcoming living space, and open plan kitchen and a beautifully equipped dining area. The corner sofa is comfortable and has plenty space to lounge and relax. There is a flat screen TV and free WIFI in the property.

Recently updated it is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet and basin. There are two bedrooms, a good size double bedroom with plenty wardrobe space and space for a travel cot and an en-suite toilet and basin. The second bedroom is a twin with fitted wardrobe.

With plenty outdoor space a stepping stone path takes you along to your own private hot tub with space for four guests. There is a play park on site with a huge pirate ship and a zip wire that children of all ages will love to explore. A small clubhouse offers drinks and snacks and during busier times activities for children and families such as a kids cinema night.

Ideally located near the A1 between Morpeth and Alnwick the park is just a short drive to the stunning beaches along the Northumberland Coastline. With Alnwick only 9 miles you can visit the stunning gardens and castle, home to Harry Potter. Northumberland really has everything you need to relax and get away from it all. Not only is it one of the most picturesque parts of the country, it is also a region steeped in history and heritage including Hadrian’s Wall.

Willow Burn is a homely family friendly holiday home on Bockenfied Country Park, located between Morpeth and Alnwick it's the perfect place to spend a peaceful relaxing time in the Northumberland Countryside.  Willow Burn is a comfortable 2 bedroom property, with modern furnishings and quirky finishing touches and a private hot tub.  Willow Burn will be a hit with families and groups wanting a comfortable get away to relax and chill out or a base to explore all Northumberland has to offer.  The open plan lounge provides comfortable seating and dining, and opens out to a lovely front terrace overlooking the burn and woodland.  Outside there is a private hot tub wiith capacity for four on a raised deck and there is plenty room around the property for a BBQ and space for children to play and explore.  Children will love the play area with a huge pirate ships and a zip line and there's also a small clubhouse on site offering drinksand snacks.   Famous for it's many castles, the area attracts thousands of visitors each year who are all keen to see Alnwick Castle and gardens, home to Harry Potter.  The stunning coastline has gorgeous long sandy beaches, there's the historic Holy Island and all there is to explore by boat around the Farne Islands with their colonies of Puffins, seals and resident bottlenose dolphin pods.  The local countryside and Cheviot Hills can be explored on foot or bike and there are countless country gardens and country houses to visit.  For golfers Burgham park and Leisure Club is less than 500 metres from the Park.  Aviation enthusiasts can watch the light aircraft arrive and take off at Eschott Airfileld which is right next door.

Willow Burn is on Bockenfield Country Park, which is a beautiful park in the heart of Northumberland and lies centrally between Morpeth and Alnwick.

The closest beach provides you with miles and miles of golden sand where your dogs can run free too and is just about 15 mins drive.

The home of Harry Potter is just up the road, in Alnwick Castle and you have other fabulous castles to explore along the coast including Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Chillingham, Warkworth and many others.

There are villages that will delight and surprise you and gorgeous pubs, restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy some true Northumbrian hospitality.
