Forget Me Not is on Felmoor Country Park which is a beautiful park in the heart of Northumberland and lies centrally between Morpeth and Alnwick. ?There is a club house and restaurant on site, but no shop so you will need to take groceries with you. The nearest shops are in Morpeth.
The closest beach provides you with miles and miles of golden sand where your dogs can run free too and is just about 15 mins drive.
The Home of Harry Potter is just up the road, in Alnwick Castle and you have other fabulous castles to explore along the coast including Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Chillingham, Warkworth and many others.
There are villages that will delight and surprise you and gorgeous pubs, restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy some true Northumbrian hospitality.
There are lots of activities such as horse-riding, golf, cinemas, theatres, swimming pools and much much more for the whole family to enjoy.

Forget Me Not Lodge on first glance was roomy and very clean, hot tub was in a nice private corner of the decking which was extremely spacious. Nice size bedrooms and the walk in closet in the en-suite bedroom was a nice touch. Everything was clearly thought about for an Executive lodge, as there was plenty of cutlery and kitchen utensils and having Sky on the TV and free WiFi was brilliant. The only down side was the two showers - the shower in the family bathroom wouldnt stay up the pole long enough for a shower and the water pressure and spray was disappointing, the shower in the en-suite kept alternating between hot, warm and cold and did not encourage my disabled mother to want to get in and get a proper wash. We did not realise that the washer was also a dryer until the day before we left - our fault entirely for not looking properly. All in all we did enjoy our stay and would recommend it for anyone who wants a short break with easy access to the local Towns and Cities in the North East. The Crazy Horse Saloon just a few minutes walk away does lovely food and we even had a game of Bingo (which we never won).

Only knocked 1 point off for comfort because the quilts on the bed were 13.5 tog and far to hot for the middle of June. Everything about Forget me not lodge is lovely and I will be returning very soon.
