Isla's Nook is on Felmoor Country Park which is a beautiful park in the heart of Northumberland and lies centrally between Morpeth and Alnwick. There is a club house and restaurant on site, but no shop so you will need to take groceries with you. The nearest shops are in Morpeth.
The closest beach provides you with miles and miles of golden sand where your dogs can run free too, and is just about 15 mins drive.
The Home of Harry Potter is just up the road, in Alnwick Castle and you have other fabulous castles to explore along the coast including Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Chillingham, Warkworth and many others.
There are villages that will delight and surprise you and gorgeous pubs, restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy some true Northumbrian hospitality.
There are lots of activities such as horse-riding, golf, cinemas, theatres, swimming pools and much much more for the whole family to enjoy.

We loved our stay at Islas Nook. Its in a great position on Felmoor Park, not overlooked at the front or back with a large decking around the front, side and back with a large hot tub at the back and table and chairs front and back to enjoy. The decking was safe for our dog to be out on too on his own. The lodge itself is quite large and was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds in both bedrooms. The kitchen was the best Ive seen and well equipped. The lounge area was cozy, if I wanted to say anything about it that would make it better is that another one or two small lamps are needed for the evening. Otherwise I would definitely stay in it again. A nice touch too with a bottle of Prosecco and chocolate left for us on our arrival! Its also in a great part of Northumberland for days out. The weather too was perfect!

Isla's Nook is a lovely lodge on a nice site. The lodge itself was very well appointed with everything you need for your stay. It was very comfortable and clean. The dog secured wrap around deck was a real bonus as was the really lovely sunken hot tub. The site was really nice with lots of places to walk dogs on leads. Being close to the Crazy Horse pub was a bonus to visit but at the weekend the music continued until around midnight so the 'quiet by 10pm' rule didn't seem to apply. The site is ideally located for trips to the local attractions.

We have stayed at Felmoor Park many times over the years. This was our first stay at Islas Nook. Lovely, bright, very spacious and spotlessly clean accommodation. A few goodies on arrival was a lovely welcome. We would definitely stay at Islas Nook again and can highly recommend

Enjoyed our stay at Isla's Nook. Picked this lodge based on reviews, in particular the comfort of the bed, (I have back issues) however didn't find it overly comfortable. (Very soft) Lodge was well stock and had games to keep kids entertained. Some areas appeared to require more cleaning attention ie hot tub and dust in the bedroom. Overall, lovely location for walks and close to attractions in Morpeth area. Secure decked area for our dog to enjoy.

The accommodation is in a great position. It is advertised with 3 tvs - however only 1 works - owner advised on first day - I got a reply they would try to fix it but guess what no attempt made to fix. The bath also was broken but was not advised until the Monday afternoon despite owner being aware of it at point of booking as they had taps on order but failed to let me know . The sofas are uncomfortable as is the main bed. The lodge outside needs a lot of time spent to bringing decking up to standard as looks very tired. The hot tub worked apart from when you put on the high powered jets it produced so many bubbles that you have to turn them off -and that was after being in shower prior to using it. On arrival the accommodation looked Clean but on checking around it had not been polished. Which then made we wonder on rest of the cleaning regime- so I cleaned through to ensure it was up to my standards. The small tv in the bedroom was covered in dust on the back of it - defiantly has been missed during the cleaning process for a long time. I could not fault hemera holidays first class from booking to leaving - clear precise communication. The best part of the lodge is it is next door to pub.

We had a wonderful and very relaxing break at Firtree lodge. The lodge has everything you need for an enjoyable stay, and is literally home from home. The owners were very helpful and were quick to reply to any queries we had. The pub/ restaurant on site serves good quality food (not like some other on site places). The lodge is modern, immaculately clean, very comfortable and had a luxurious feel about it, with the hot tub an added bonus. Would definite recommend to family and friends and would love to return.
