Lovely relaxing weekend by Linzi Samson

Coquet is really cosy & homely, we felt very relaxed staying here. However the lodge could have been cleaner - (hence the score of 3) having said that it didn’t spoil our stay!

Entrance Barrier. by Andrew Thompson

Reviewed On: 2021-05-27

We had an issue with vehicle number plate reading entrance/exit barrier not recognising our car registration number. This obviously caused an issue when we were trying to re_enter the site. I approached the girls at reception and was told the lady responsible for updating the system wouldn't be available over the weekend. That meant 3 days being unable to get back on site without waiting for somebody to exit first.

Coquet lodge in June by Sharon Armstrong

We stayed at the end of June, the lodge was equipped with everything you need. We had a baby with us and there was a highchair and travel cot. The hot tub was excellent. We had the sun all day in the decking area. The second bedroom was a good size with decent beds stayed in a few others in this site and they are not as comfortable as this one. Lovley stay would definitely return.

Fabulous stay at Coquet Lodge by Julie Lister

We had a lovely stay in Coquet Lodge, a lovely little home from home. Our stay was only marred by the weather, so I didn’t get to try the hot tub! Maybe next time. Lovely welcome pack of tea coffee fresh milk and biscuits and two little bottles of wine. So thoughtful. Everything was very comfortable and well presented. I usually struggle to sleep in any bed but my own, but the bed in the main bedroom was one of the most comfortable I have experienced. The park itself is lovely, clean and well kept. The Crazy Horse Saloon was great and we had some nice meals in there. Staff very pleasant. Dog friendly. We had a lovely visit to Alnwick on the Saturday and enjoyed the market and mooching around the shops. The Chocolate Spa was a lovely shop where you could pick the handmade chocolates for your own box. They were delicious and made lovely little gifts. My favourite place though was Amble. I’ve never been before. Parked near the marina and then walked into the centre where we came across the little shopping pods. Lovely time browsing round. Lots of dog friendly cafes and bars to stop at. All in all a lovely long weekend which I shall look forward to visiting again. Thank you.
