Welcome to Scotland

Hello, I am Gillian and live in Central Scotland with my husband, a beach-loving dog & a very laid- back cat.

I am very excited to join Hemera Holidays as a Travel Partner and I cannot wait to show you what we have to offer in Scotland.

To let you into a little secret, I was actually a customer of Hemera first, before joining the team. Having booked with Hemera several times over the years for holidays & long weekends, I knew the customer service and choice of accommodation was excellent, so when I saw the opportunity to join them and help with their expansion into Scotland, I jumped at the opportunity!

Although born in Scotland, I have also lived in various parts of the UK but I actually grew up in South Africa, however, it wasn’t a hard decision to return to bonnie Scotland about 15 years ago.

Scotland has so much to offer as a holiday destination, from its bustling cities, snow-capped mountains, quaint villages, rolling countryside, beaches and lochs – and that’s before we get to the castles, kilts, tablet and haggis!

I’ve always been the organiser of holidays and long weekends away with family and friends, so I know what is important when looking for holiday accommodation. I’m passionate about getting it right for both Property Owners and Guests, so you can rest assured, you’ve come to the right place to showcase your holiday home or book your next adventure.

For Property Owners, I want to work closely with you to maximise your bookings, build repeat business and showcase your holiday home to as many people as possible across a variety of booking platforms, plus our existing far-reaching social media presence. There are no tie-in contracts or hidden fees when you join Hemera to market your property. We also have a secure booking and payments system, as well as an unrivalled cancellation policy for all clients.

For Guests, I look forward to sharing a fantastic range of accommodation with you, so please keep watching for new properties coming soon. Whether you are looking for a city apartment, a luxurious lodge with a hot tub, a remote cottage to star-gaze from, or a pet-friendly home for the whole family – then I would love to help you find the perfect place to create new memories.

I look forward to welcoming you to Hemera Holidays in Scotland.

Gillian x
